Who is Fido?
Fido is a Nigerian artist born Awosika Olayemi Josiah in Matogun, Ogun State. on 21st September 1997.
Raised by a single mother, his passion for singing began in his local church. As he grew, he enjoyed listening to Olamide and Kizz Daniel for their energetic music, and legendary Fela Anikulapo-Kuti for his powerful messages.
Pushing to fulfil his passion, in 2019, he registered and attended the PEFTI Film Institute for the artists development course. His time at the institute helped him improve his talent and gave him confidence to pursue his desires.
Fido dropped his debut single “Awolowo” in August 2024. The hyped had not died down on this hit track when Fido dropped yet this banger – Joy is Coming.
