Released in May 2023, ask about me has been climbing the chart in numbers with over 7 million on YouTube alone – as at October 2023. Contributing to this figure are newly acquired fans of Mohbad post-death.

Mohbad, aka Imole, died suddenly on 12th September 2023 sadly prompting many to discover who he is.

What is the song “Ask About Me” all about?

Mohbad is singing that enemies are trying to catch him, however they will not be able to as he will continue to run and be protected as a child of God, all while cashing in with his music.

Many believe that this song was an underlying indication that Mohbad foresaw his death. One of lyrics states; “the death that killed a teacher’s mum, can also kill a man”. While the video shows Mohbad being a tough guy, the song echoes disturbance of being chased, commotion and restlessness.
