One of Nigeria’s underrated artist Omah Lay is back with another alternative track – Soso.
The song’s lyrics is interesting, the video on the other hand takes it to next level.
In a behind the scenes edit, Omah lay described; “Soso most of his time is money honestly, I cant even lie, soso a lot of the time is money but sometimes it could be girl, very fine girl. Uniport babe, Unilag babe, those girls their head dey touch. I like those girls die.”
Omah lay is essentially saying soso – for him – can either be money or a girl, precisely University of Lagos or Part Harcourt girls (in Nigeria). So the soso he calls would depend on what he is in need of at the time.
The video expands this idea, showing Omah Lay submitting himself to soso in what looks like an exorcist, spiritual exercise so his pain can be taken away and his problem can be solved.
